Kirby lives in Mammoth, California, where he was bitten hard by the paragliding bug in 2022.  His focus now is flying, maintaining his day job, flying, serving as board chair at the Coral Reef Alliance (his other passion), flying, exploring the Sierra Nevada, and of course, flying.  Kirby is a Director of Strategy at Salesforce, and has previously held positions as the Chief Operating Officer of SWS Venture Capital, as an e-commerce leader at Teleflora, and as a member of Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Operations practice, helping organizations develop long-term customer and operating strategies, improve efficiencies and performance, and launch new businesses. Kirby holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, as well as a master’s degree in international business and a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Florida.  As part of the USHPA board, Kirby hopes to expand the opportunities for free flight in the US, increase member value, and grow the free flight community… when not flying.
