Attention Paragliding Accuracy competition pilots & PG Accuracy National Teams:
In August 2023, Colombia will offer a unique opportunity for competition and training with two back-to-back Accuracy competitions: 10-13 August the Air Fest in Bucaramanga, Santander, and 17-20 August the test event for 2024's FAI Cat 1 Pan-American Championship in Piedechinche, Valle Del Cauca, Colombia. Two competitions for the price of one airplane ticket!!!
This is an excellent opportunity to test your Accuracy skills against the best in the Americas. And for national teams heading to the October 2023 World Championship in Sopot, Bulgaria, this provides an excellent opportunity to train as a team, iron out wrinkles, and develop winning strategies in conditions similar in altitude and climate as you will likely encounter in Sopot.
As an added bonus, you will also be familiarizing yourselves with the flying/competition sites and with many of the competitors, for next year's FAI Cat 1 Continental Championship in the Americas.
To top the sundae with a cherry, the food in Colombia is great and inexpensive, lodging is very affordable. and the dollar and euro go a long way in Colombia.
